And not much of anything else either. Monday I had a shoot scheduled with Kim. She had sent me a message a couple of months ago telling me that she was interested and could easily travel from Houston, Texas. I told her to let me know when she would be in the area. Monday was the day. Kim is a flight attendant and gets some pretty sweet air fares. Just like everyone else that goes through an airport though… someone managed to lose her luggage. Not much, just one smallish suitcase. Of course, this was the one smallish suitcase that had everything she needed for the shoot – or most of it. We decided to go ahead with something and hope that the rest of the stuff would come in reasonable time to use it before she had to leave. It was planned that Kim would stay with us.
Fortunately, besides rope I also have a lot of backup wardrobe here. We improvised.
Well… the suitcase finally was delivered to us around 8:30 last night. We decided that it was going to be too late to break it all out and we all just kind of wound up swapping lies for the rest of the evening. My wife delivered her to the airport this morning. I hope she – and her suitcase – make it back ok.
