You know… I really thought that yesterday’s post following up the Saturday rally would be the last on that topic for a while. I personally hate it when it sounds like some person all of a sudden found religion, found the greatest diet plan or found politics and has decided to shove it down your throat. Reading back over several recent posts here, it seems that I’ve become one of those people. Sorry.

I really did want to go back to showing pictures of damsels in rope or some other weird thing I found interesting enough to photograph, but no. These people just keep coming up with some new incredible shit that I feel the need to point out.

Yesterday, I went off on Scott Fitzgerald. Yes, I expected that we would hear more from this pompous asshole but geez… the very next day? “Please note that all 14 Democrat senators are still in contempt of the Senate. Therefore, when taking roll call votes on amendments and bills during executive sessions, Senate Democrats’ votes will not be reflected in the Records of Committee Proceedings or the Senate Journal. They are free to attend hearings, listen to testimony, debate legislation, introduce amendments, and cast votes to signal their support/opposition, but those votes will not count, and will not be recorded.”

Wow. If I understand this correctly, he is saying that the Dems just don’t have a chance at all now. They will be allowed to debate legislation until the Senate leader decides he has heard enough and will call a vote to slam dunk another victory on the Republican scoreboard. Just like the Budget Repair Bill, just like the Budget. In fact, it sounds as if they now think they can position themselves to pass the budget on time – as they wish and whenever they please. Pretty outrageous stuff.

Along with that, “The lead lawyer for the state agency in charge of settling state labor-management disputes would become a political appointee under a proposal included in Gov. Scott Walker’s biennial budget, a change critics say injects political influence into an agency that is supposed to be impartial.”

Sounds like they are getting everything in place. I’m guessing that Walker and the Fitzgerald boys are keeping a bag packed for Washington at all times now.

Ok… I’ll try to go back to pictures of tied up naked women as soon as possible. This may be fitting, imagine that you are this woman and that rope is Walker and the Fitzgerald boys.
