The last couple of days:

A couple of new things. I had the pleasure of working with Laureate today. We tried a couple of suspension variations.

Photos of Laureate removed by request of Laureate.

Fun, games and rain were the ticket yesterday as we had a visit from Max for a couple of days. Although it rained most of the day, we still had fun at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, Illinois. I am completely amused and amazed with kids and their freedom to be just that, a kid. I’m not exactly sure why things that I may have considered annoying in the past are interesting and entertaining now. As I mentioned, it rained most of the time we were there. Max somehow found every puddle as we scooted from building to building and made sure that he stepped hard in each and every one. The train ride was quite entertaining. On the way out the inside of the car became quite stuffy with the humidity. The engineer told us that we could open the windows as we flew along at about 45 mph. We did and Max sort of had the same reaction as a dog with an open car window, his face poked out in the wind and rain. It was great.
